It was a total privilege to cover this event. Damian’s global artistic influence through his label @crosstownrebels and @dayzerofestival says enough, but witnessing his beautiful story telling through music was something I had always dreamed of. So to be blessed with the opportunity and trust from @sexygroovylove to capture this evening felt overwhelming but also an opportunity to be a part of something so meaningful to me.
I’m feeling so grateful to be able to co-create in spaces like these with such inspiring artists. Combining my deep passions for music and photography really feels like the greatest gift, and moments like these make me feel truly lucky for what I get to do.

In past years, I’ve found myself distracted and disengaged bringing my camera with me around this place. Looking for photos instead of just being. This year I left it in the car. Waiting patiently for the natural urge to exercise this part of myself. This selection of photos are from Friday afternoon and Saturday into Sunday. A collective 24 hours through my dusty eyes as the week came to a close.
I have found the deepest gratitude in this art form, and I feel so blessed to have had this experience once again. These photos are a reflection of my personal experience this year - not forcing it, and being open to the perfect moment revealing itself.
