Kinda mad that I’ve already been at the studio/shop for two whole weeks! My hours, going ahead; are on first slide!
Whilst finding my rhythm int new space; I took ont task of designing a new bumbag… I’ve been getting some great scraps from my other job & they’re fine w/me helping to further reduce waste!
With a bunch of random-shaped offcuts: I designed a bag which is cut to respond to this. Panels of various shapes, sizes & colours -combined to form an eyecatching & modern nod to the classic bumbag.
If you already follow @sneakerpharm ; you’ll know Vinnie’s all about reducing waste & getting more life outta each pair of shoes. This project felt like the perfect starting point, as I moved into his space in NQ. Made outta scraps, this bag is a direct response to waste -repurposing what was gonna end up in landfill -solving a problem through design, craft & careful consideration!
I’ve already made a couple a these & you can come get one, from the shop! I’m in all day Mon/Tue & Sat; last couple hours on Wed/Thu & last hour on Fri -come say hey!

there’s an awful lot if it, that comes from making the clothes you want.
Fashion’s probably faster now, than ever before! Even when you try keep it local, a lot of bigger companies simply don’t have the time to process waste, so they don’t!
With access to a buncha offcuts from local clothing production, I’ve been considering different ways to approach the issue at hand… a classic case of trash or treasure!
Nothing new or hi-tech gaan on here, just one strong seam & a whole wad’o’waste being made reet useful again -good that innit!

Just done a digital move, next-up is a physical/IRL move! From the start of March, B3 will be based in a pop-up studio at @sneakerpharm & I am very excited to get working under the same roof as my mate Vinnie!

I’ve been telling myself I’d get this out for a couple winters now, tho things don’t always go to plan eh -BUT last I checked, it’s JUUUUUST about still 2025, so here’s something send it off with! Whilst a bunch folk are overindulging in what AI can do; failing to consider the longer term effects, from both the use of it & the ‘content’ created throughout… on the mind; societal attitudes & perhaps most-importantly; the huge drain on resources of our poor lil earth… well, not here at B3HQ no sir-ee!

@wisebmc25 part2… I aint gonna bang on too much about every detail… but just know that weeks later; I’m still thinking about how magical WISE was!
There was plenty of fun & maybe even almost too much sun! Saturday was at Newbird with the main event being the main race! Riders bounced all around the course, replicating a day’s graft of a messenger.
Sunday we took to the pier head for: mechanics race, footdown, trackstands, games & the open forum! Topped off the weekend with a succulent chinese meal & a wholesome day of park hangz.
