For the @biteriot Orchard Long Picnic on Sunday 22 March, Mick is serving up a four-course celebration of Orange produce — with apples taking centre stage (of course 🍏).
Think local chestnuts, juicy plums, a little duck, a little pork… and apples showcased in every dish, cooked and prepared in all kinds of clever ways.
Because when it’s Orange at harvest time? The produce speaks for itself.
And that’s what FOOD Week is all about — filling the town, backing local growers, and putting our region on the plate.

Our @orangefoodweek Orchard Long Picnic is set to be one of F.O.O.D Week’s most unique events, with not only a beautiful 4-course @biteriot 🍎 Apple inspired picnic lunch, beautiful @rikardwines but live music from former @thevoiceau star @cathadams999 and @kylemanning71 🎹
There will also be a tour of the orchard and pack house where you will get to see behind the scenes on one of NSW’s most renowned apple brands, and the afternoon finishes @canobolasdancehall with dessert and a final set from Cath and Kyle.
