📍O’Mills Bakery & Bistro 🇨🇳 Shanghai, China What we ordered 👇 • Burrata & Prosciutto on Sourdough Toast 🥖 • Chocolate Brownie 🍫 Located inside Shanghai Airport, O’Mills Bakery & Bistro is a decent spot for quick bite while travelling. The burrata and prosciutto sourdough toast was fresh, vibrant and full of flavour, with quality ingredients that worked really well together. However, the chocolate brownie was a let-down. It was quite dry and really needed something alongside it, like ice cream to bring it together and make it more enjoyable. Rating: 7/10 Bite Worthy? 📍Backstage 🇻🇳 Hanoi, Vietnam What we ordered 👇 • Grilled Marble Eel 🐟 • Stone Crab Noodle 🦀 Backstage has a calm and elegant atmosphere with stylish décor that gives the restaurant a refined feel. It was very quiet when we visited, with only a few other tables occupied, which did make the space feel slightly empty at times. What really stood out was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly and eager to help, which made the experience feel welcoming from start to finish. The grilled marble eel was easily one of the best dishes we had during our time in Vietnam, packed with bold yet clean flavours that let the quality of the eel shine through. The drinks were also excellent and crafted beautifully. Overall, a refined dining experience with standout service and some memorable dishes. Rating: 8.5/10 Bite Worthy? 📍All Day by Kramers 🇺🇸 Washington, D.C., USA What we ordered 👇 • Mediterranean Hummus Bowl 🥙 • Soho Omelet 🍳 • Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap 🥗 • Crispy Chicken Sandwich 🥪 • Cali Breakfast Burrito 🌯
• Iced Caramel Latte ☕️
All Day by Kramers, located in Dupont Circle, is an iconic bookstore café that blends a love of books with a relaxed and inviting dining experience. Set inside the Kramers bookstore, the space has been beautifully refreshed with greenery and book-inspired murals, creating a cozy yet modern atmosphere that’s perfect for lingering. The menu leans modern American with subtle French influences and offers a wide range of options, from all-day breakfast to lunch, dinner, and cocktails, making it a versatile spot any time of day. We visited for brunch and really enjoyed the overall experience. The food was well prepared and flavorful, with portions that were generous enough to feel satisfying. The crispy chicken Caesar wrap, while tasty, could have used a bit more chicken, but it didn’t take away too much from the meal. Overall, it’s a great place to unwind, enjoy a casual meal, and browse through books all in one setting — definitely somewhere we’d come back to. Rating: 7.5/10 Bite Worthy? 📍Steam Packet 🇬🇧 Chiswick, United Kingdom What we ordered 👇 • Fish and Chips 🐟 • Grilled Halloumi Wrap 🌯 • Crispy Chicken Thigh 🍗 • Salt and Pepper Squid 🦑 Steam Packet is a charming gastro pub overlooking the river, with friendly staff and a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes it a lovely place to unwind. The riverside setting definitely adds to the experience. The food was comforting and enjoyable overall, with the crispy chicken thighs being the standout dish for us. They were full of flavour and cooked really well. Unfortunately, the squid lacked flavour and didn’t taste as fresh as we would have liked. Whilst we wouldn’t necessarily go out of our way to visit again just for the food, it’s definitely somewhere we would happily return to if we were in the area, especially for a few drinks and the lovely river views. 📍Bé Ni 2 🇻🇳 Da Nang, Vietnam What we ordered 👇 • Crab with Chilli Sauce 🦀 • Grilled Fish 🐟 Bé Ni 2 is another one of those unassuming spots that most tourists would probably walk past, but it delivers some seriously impressive food. The restaurant itself is quite crammed and noisy, but that just adds to the authentic, local feel and doesn’t take away from the experience at all. The seafood here is incredibly fresh. You can actually choose your own shellfish, picking the size of your crab or lobster, which makes the whole experience feel even more special. You can really taste the freshness in every bite. The flavours are spot on, balanced enough to let the natural sweetness of the seafood come through while still adding a nice layer of spice and richness. The service was also excellent. There are plenty of staff around, all very attentive, and they even help crack and pick the meat from the shellfish for you, which makes everything so much easier and more enjoyable. Once inside, you’re transported into a dimly lit, moody space with red velvet booths, vintage touches, and a warm, atmospheric glow that sets the tone for the night. The vibe is effortlessly cool, upscale, and perfect for a date night or an evening out with friends. The cocktail program is extensive and thoughtfully curated, with a wide variety of creative and classic drinks. Some of our favorites included the Mary Pickford, which was smooth and slightly sweet, the Bee’s Knees, light and refreshing with a citrusy edge, and the Wilde Side, which was fruity and easy to enjoy. Every drink felt intentional and well-balanced, making it fun to explore the menu. The food held its own alongside the drinks and made the experience even better. 📍Cây Gió 🇻🇳 Hoi An, Vietnam What we ordered 👇 • Grilled Pomfret 🐠 • Lemongrass & Chilli Clams 🦪 • Deep Fried Fish 🐟 • Steamed Rice 🍚 • Fries 🍟 Cây Gió is a true hidden gem. It’s the kind of unassuming, off-the-beaten-track spot that you could easily walk past, but it ends up serving some of the best food you’ll have. Set right by the beach, it’s the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the surroundings. The seafood here was incredible. The fish was unbelievably fresh, grilled and fried to perfection with that soft, flaky texture that just melts in your mouth. Simple, clean flavours done really well. The lemongrass and chilli clams were a standout, easily one of the most flavourful dishes we had. Perfectly balanced, fragrant and packed with flavour in every bite. Service is a little on the slower side, but it honestly doesn’t matter when you’re sitting by the ocean with that view and atmosphere. A spot we would 100% recommend if you’re in Hoi An. 📍The Cultured Pearl 🇺🇸 Rehoboth Beach, DE, USA What we ordered 👇 • Spicy Lotus Roll 🍣 • Chicken Teriyaki 🍗 • Thai Panang Curry 🍛 • Korean Fried Cauliflower 🥦 • Ramen 🍜 • Udon Noodles 🍳 • Pom Queen 🍷 • Lychee Martini 🍸 • Mai Tai 🍹 The Cultured Pearl Restaurant & Sushi Bar is a long-standing favorite among both locals and visitors in Rehoboth Beach, even earning “Best of Delaware” for over 27 years in a row. From the moment you walk in, the space stands out — a beautifully designed interior featuring bamboo accents, cherry blossoms, and even a koi pond, creating a serene and unique dining atmosphere that feels both elevated and inviting. The menu is extensive, centered around its award-winning sushi bar and features a blend of Japanese, Thai, and Korean dishes, so there’s something for everyone. The food overall was flavorful and enjoyable, though the rice was slightly on the drier side. The drinks were definitely a highlight of the experience — especially the Pom Queen, which is a must-try. While the ambiance and food make it a memorable spot, the service unfortunately didn’t match the rest of the experience, as our server came across a bit rude and impolite. That said, the atmosphere makes it worth a visit, especially if you’re looking for a unique and visually beautiful place to dine in Rehoboth Beach. Rating: 7/10 Bite Worthy? 📍Beasy 🇬🇧 London, United Kingdom What we ordered 👇 • Smacked Cucumber 🥒 • Corn Ribs 🌽 • Fried Chicken 🍗 • Tater Tots 🥔 • NY Classic Hotdog 🌭 • Truffle Chicken Hotdog 🐔 • Churros 😋 • Coconut Herb 🥥 • Beasy Spritz 🍹 • Tribe 🍸 Beasy Bar is a fun Soho spot with a lively atmosphere, great energy and the kind of place that works perfectly for casual drinks and sharing plates. The vibe is relaxed and social, making it a great option for catching up with friends or starting a night out in London. What makes it stand out is the playful idea of taking classic hotdogs and giving them an elevated twist. It feels fun, different and something you do not come across too often in London. The food was full of comfort favourites with a creative edge. The fried chicken was crispy and satisfying, the tater tots were dangerously addictive, and both hotdogs delivered on flavour. The NY Classic kept things simple and tasty, while the truffle chicken hotdog added a richer, more indulgent twist. The smacked cucumber was a refreshing side to balance everything out, and the churros were a sweet way to finish the meal. The cocktails were also a highlight, really well made, nicely balanced and easy to enjoy. Overall, a really enjoyable spot with fun food, good vibes and plenty to choose from. 📍Don Duck 🇻🇳 Hanoi, Vietnam What we ordered 👇 • Duck Spring Rolls 🥢
• Grilled Duck On The Table 🦆
• Duck Breast Steak 🥩 Don Duck was easily one of the best restaurants we have visited in a long time. Every dish felt carefully thought out, and the quality of the duck was exceptional throughout. It is rare to find duck cooked this well across multiple dishes, but they absolutely delivered here. The duck spring rolls were some of the best we have ever had. Perfectly crisp on the outside, packed with flavour, and incredibly moreish. The duck breast steak was cooked beautifully, tender and juicy with a simple but elevated seasoning that let the quality of the meat shine. The grilled duck on the table was another standout. Served sizzling on a hot plate and coated in fragrant spices, every bite was full of flavour. Despite the heat, the duck stayed juicy and succulent without drying out. Service was amazing from start to finish. The staff were friendly, funny and genuinely attentive, which made the whole experience even better. If you are in Hanoi and love duck, this place is an absolute must-visit. Rating: 9.5/10 Bite Worthy? Yes ✅ #biteworthy #foodreview #foodaroundtheworld #vietnameats #hanoifood
