Our last artist for the 26th of November is Dylan Flynn & The Dead Poets! @dylanflynndeadpoets This band have been busy this year, embarking on their first Irish tour, releasing their sophomore EP, with their latest single, ‘running away’ gaining huge traction in Ireland and the UK. Tickets available from the link in our bio. ——————————————— Dylan Flynn and The Dead Poets make music for twenty-somethings living in a country that completely ignores them. The Indie up-and-comers have gained almost 200,000 streams on Spotify, secured support slots with NewDad and Milk., and recently embarked on their first Irish tour. The Indie-Rock outfit have been quickly gaining recognition in the Irish music scene for their energetic live shows, and self-produced releases, which have been featured in Hot Press, Golden Plec and Indie Buddie. Their music has also been heard across major radio stations such as Today FM, Amazing Radio, RTE 2XM, and SPIN SW.

Our opening act for the 26th of November is the wonderful @small_churchx - They have been making a name for themselves around Limerick over the past year, but this is going to be their last show for awhile, so make sure not to miss it! Tickets available from the link in our bio. —————————————————— Small Church is a band comprised of Limerick School of Art & Design alumni. The band's sound is a fusion of Grunge & Shoegaze. They often begin with a melodic or distorted bass progression, layered with dreamy rhythm guitar and soaring synth lead riffs which are often easily mistaken for guitar solo runs. The drum section is interspersed with unconventional fills and dynamic velocity. The lead vocalist Andreea Mocanu (also of Powpig) has an ethereal quality in her tone in soft moments but has the range and presence to blast off towards a climactic crescendo when the moment arises.

@banrionband will be gracing Limerick with their presence on the 26th of November as they take to the stage in Pharmacia. Their music pairs a jangly indie rock sound with soft lyrics about songwriter Róisín's experience of disability, love and loss, set in the ever changing city they are all cursed to love. They established themselves "as one of the most thrilling new forces in Irish indie-rock" according to Hot Press with their first release - the self recorded and produced EP ‘airport dads’ in 2020. The EP was critically acclaimed with reviews from Nialler9, Hot Press, The Thin Air and landed banríon a support slot on Pillow Queens Irish tour.
