Kicking off ARAO’s first-ever Designer Series is bitagcol—the creative vision of muse, fashion icon, lens woman, and artist Jo Ann Bitagcol.
Launched in 2019 with its debut collection Baul, Bitagcol has since evolved into a living canvas where Philippine heritage and everyday life are reimagined into multifunctional garments. From silk scarves and terno tops to malong pants and kimono dresses, each piece carries stories of culture through the artist’s lens.
Now five years strong, with milestones from Katutubo to Bench Fashion Week, Bitagcol continues to expand into new mediums and new spaces—most recently opening a dedicated showroom in Poblacion.
