A wonderful afternoon spent with @thedesignory and their group of ladies who are visiting from all over Australia to partake in the Design Retreats they are running. It was fun to meet all of these wonderful women, all with one common interest, Design and an absolute love of houses.

It is such a lovely experience working with the developers of Harvest Estate in Byron. They invited us to work alongside @metriconhomes in the selection process, as well as tweaking the designs to give the house a unique feel.
The selections available were quite unbelievable really, so I went, in typical Bisque form, with all the natural options. Stone throughout the downstairs area, to create a cohesive, larger feel. We will obviously soften all of this with rugs. The tiles were also all natural stone in our warm colours, and the paint selections were a subtle coordination of a handful of colours that all tied in together. Upstairs we elected to go for all timber floorboards all the way through, as opposed to the expected carpeted bedrooms. Again, these will be softened with beautiful rugs. This, again, made the place feel really luxe, much larger and super current yet classic at the same time. Next, furnishing all the rooms.
It was great to catch up with Marty, too, who is the project manager of this Harvest Estate, as well as Bonobo, Eade and some other very exciting projects coming to Byron.
I thank all of these guys for putting your trust in Bisque in a couple of projects now. It is so much fun and I look forward to a long and happy relationship with these guys 🏡

How to create the perfect Bisque Living Room.
1. Start with a warm palette. In our case we have this stunning space featuring soft chalky plaster on the wall, wooden floor boards, high ceilings lined with an organic material, raw wooden beams, high deep set windows.
2. Add our 3.5 x 2.5 ESSAOUIRA Moroccan wool rug as a base.
3. Add our new Banya 1.8 reclaimed wood chunky low console.
4. Add one of Wabi Sabi pots filled with flowers to the console and hang one of my neutral textured artworks, customised.
5. Add a row of our Lorenzo taupe slip cover 1m wide pods and the Sahil Naga coffee table.
6. Add two of our Thomas chairs, in Lead leather.
7. Add decor to the coffee table : a large antique stone Azrika parat filled with natural seeds (collected), a stack of fabulous books, draped with a clay hand formed necklace.
8. Add a Ukhal stool as a side table and more beautiful books, to the console, topped with a small organic shaped pot.
9. Hang our hand blown recycled glass Bisetti chandelier in amber.
10. Finally, hang heavy linen drapes, long enough to pool on the ground.

We are looking for someone to work 2-3 days a week in a mostly admin position. Must be adept at Shopify, (a knowledge of Claude helps) and generally be really tech savvy. We are an interiors company, so a genuine love of this industry along with great people skills will get you this job. Communication skills with customers, both wholesale and retail, in person and online/phone is imperative. We need you to be highly motivated, easy to get along with and VERY RELIABLE. This is a long term position, so we really need to find the right fit.
