The BIS is transforming and renewing itself. Our plans are becoming a reality.
We are proud to share that two new purpose-built spaces are now complete: our Design Laboratory and the new Music Conservatory. At the same time, important renovations are underway across the campus, including the Executive Head Office, the Primary Teachers’ Room, the Admissions Offices, and other key learning and working spaces.
In addition, the Secondary restrooms renovation is progressing very well and will be ready soon.
This transformation reflects our continued commitment to excellence, wellbeing, and innovation.
And this is just the beginning…

El BIS se transforma y se renueva. Nuestros planes se están convirtiendo en realidad.
Hoy celebramos avances muy importantes: ya son una realidad dos nuevos espacios diseñados especialmente para el aprendizaje, el Laboratorio de Diseño y el nuevo Conservatorio de Música. Al mismo tiempo, avanzamos con la renovación de áreas clave como la Oficina de Rectoría, la sala de profesores de Primaria, las oficinas de Admisiones y otros espacios estratégicos del campus.
La renovación de los baños de Secundaria también avanza a muy buen ritmo y pronto estarán listos.
Seguimos creciendo, evolucionando y fortaleciendo nuestra experiencia educativa.
Y esto es solo el comienzo…

Our students proudly represented BIS at the Copa San José, participating in football, softball, volleyball and basketball across different categories. Beyond the results, this experience highlights the importance of sport as a fundamental pillar of holistic education at BIS. We are especially proud of our High School boys’ football team, who achieved second place in their category. Sport at BIS builds discipline, teamwork and character, both on and off the field.
En el BIS, nuestros estudiantes participaron con orgullo en la Copa San José, compitiendo en fútbol, softball, voleibol y baloncesto en diferentes categorías. Más allá de los resultados, esta experiencia reafirma la importancia del deporte como parte esencial de una formación integral. At the British International School, we proudly recognise our students honoured in the BIS Honour Roll.
We congratulate those who achieved the First Honour Roll and Second Honour Roll in Primary and Secondary, as well as students recognised for consistently demonstrating the IB Learner Profile attributes.
In addition, the Knowledge Center (KC) presented a special recognition to the Top Readers in Primary, celebrating their commitment to developing strong reading habits, a key skill for lifelong learning and critical thinking.
Finally, a special recognition was also given to Year 12 students who achieved top scores in the Saber 11 mock examinations, highlighting their academic dedication and strong preparation.
These achievements reflect discipline, sustained effort and a commitment to excellence, values that define our BIS community.
