Bis. is a system rooted in nature, where creation and sport are an excuse to spend time outside. I wanted to create a global studio free of creative choices and medium.
Where globality becomes locality, radicality and relevance must be mastered.
The first choice is no longer the right one. The alternative is.
BIS.
Last year, BIS was invited to be part of the first issue of @outside.details magazine. That’s with @_____portal that we’ve decided to share our pages around an object and a photo set giving new context to trail running. Far from the usual performance based run and closer to the nature and the crafts.

A TITICI RIDE
At night, everything narrows to what the headlight reveals. The rest disappears. Preparing for a ride in this silence becomes a ritual. The body awakens to the cold air, there’s no noise, no background—just the rider, the bike, and the start of the loop. In the absence of a visible horizon, everything feels closer, weightier, and every gesture carries meaning.

BIS is about more than just creation, it’s also about competing (here with @eskagang ‘s team). We go all in, creatively and physically. Pushing limits, chasing growth. It’s not the end goal, it’s the process
Being alone on a gravel road creates a unique connection with your surroundings, allowing you to truly immerse yourself in nature. In that moment you realize that solitude is just an illusion.
Bis. exploring the materiality of artefacts.
A way of rethinking contemporary outdoor objects as relics. An exploration of their materiality and their potential to become anthropological witnesses of our times.
