Delight — great pleasure; joy.
This morning while spending time with the Lord, I began thanking Him for His Word and for what He’s been showing me as I read and study. As I thanked Him, I heard in my spirit, “My pleasure.”
That one moment had me crying and laughing at the same time. I was completely overtaken by the joy of the Lord. Today, I truly felt delight in Him.

He came quietly down the stairs and stopped just behind me. His arms slid around my waist, holding me as if I were something precious. His touch was unhurried, tender, as he brushed his lips against my neck, sending a soft warmth through me. Then, close enough that I could feel his breath, he leaned in and whispered, “I do love you.”
While praying this morning, I was reminded of a sweet moment about a year ago. We had our house decorated for a special event, and when my 3 year old granddaughter walked into the house, she stopped and said, “Wow, Grandma… wow.” She was truly amazed by how beautiful the front room looked.
As I sat with the Lord today, reflecting on His goodness, that same word came to my heart. The only way I could describe Him was wow.
Wow — an exclamation of surprise, wonder, and pure delight.
Lord, You are WoW!
A scripture that really speaks to the thought, “the gift of you is enough,” is found in 1 Peter 4:10:
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
What I love about this verse is how it reminds us that the gifts God has placed within each of us are not only valuable, but they’re enough. Simply showing up as yourself, sharing what you’ve been given, and using it to bless others—that’s more than sufficient. #spiritualgrowth #innerpeace #wisdom #godsword #christianliving

For years, I thought “seek Me early” meant 5am prayer and hot tea (because coffee isn’t my cup of tea)🥴. But the more I sat with it, the more I realized: early isn’t just about time of day… it’s about timing in life.
Seek God before the breakdown.
Before the “what am I doing with my life” spiral.
Before the group chat advice and the 23 open tabs on Google.
Before you’ve tried everything your way and finally crawl back like, “Hey God… you busy?” 😅
I remember Him telling me years ago:
“Stop using Me as the last resort. I am better than that.”
Whew. That one hit deep.
So now? I’m learning to seek Him first. Not last.
Not when the plan fails.
Not when the mess is unfixable.
But early—as in, before it even starts to unravel.
Because He’s not my emergency contact.
He’s the One who wants to walk with me before I even trip.
