A concert I'll surely never forget, because it was the first one where I felt actually connected to the piano. I always looked at it as just my second instrument, which is why I sometimes have felt limited in my ability to put my ideas into reality, lacking some technique and experience. I grew more familiar to it through Diminished Gravity, finding my approach through improvisation and fooling around. I still feel like I've got so much to learn and that I'm far from feeling confident on the piano. But at this concert last friday at Frau Mayer, I got a climpse of the feeling of belonging to this instrument and not only to bass, where I - of course - feel the most likely at home.

FLINTA* JAZZ SESSION #1 RECAP
Last night was pure magic. The athmosphere, the support from the audience and among musicians, the talent and bravery on stage, the talks, the hugs, the new acquaintances. I felt like we were collectively healing.
Thanks so everyone who came, we felt your support and cherish it deeply! Thanks to everyone who went on stage to jam, I know for some it was the first time, and that is exactly why I wanted to make this night happen. People feeling safe enough to go on stage when they usually don't, is exactly what I wished for. So proud of everyone!!

I made my first Youtube video about Health Issues of Musicians! 🥳
As a 20-year old Jazz bass player who has had problems like tendinitis and back pain, this is a really important topic to me that I spent a lot of time with in the last year(s).
It made me learn a lot about my body, routines and musicianship and for sure has made me a stronger person, although (or because) it has been really challenging and frustrating at times. I know for a fact that I’m by far not the only one facing these kind of problems - so I decided to share some of my experiences and tricks about how to deal with health problems as a musician and especially how to avoid them in the first place ;)
