Thank you to BIRDS OF WAR co-director Janay Boulos for sharing this beautiful, courageous film—shifting the focus from war as politics to the real people whose lives are forever changed by it.

🇬🇧It’s coming home! The UK Premiere of Birds of War 🕊️❤️🎬

Honoured to represent Birds of War at the Parliamentary Assembly of the @councilofeurope following our recognition at the @filmfestivalgr , where we received the Human Rights in Motion Award.
We had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions around the ongoing Israeli war on Lebanon and the evolving situation in Syria in the aftermath of the Assad regime.
This moment goes beyond our film, it’s about the urgent realities it reflects. Grateful for the space to bring this story into dialogue with policymakers and human rights advocates.
🎬 We had the privilege of hosting the German premiere of @birdsofwar.film at our Award Ceremony last week. Thank you to the directors, authors, and protagonists Janay and Abd Alkader for joining us in Berlin and reminding us that sharing stories remains one of the strongest tools to fight back against dominant narratives. ✨
