An update on bootblacking stuff, or lack there of:
As most of you do not know, I am a healthcare worker. This means that the current pandemic wave we are in has been exhausting and deeply depleting. Taking on extra work responsibilities within a hospital means that I need to be more cautious about how I interact with groups and events. How I use my limited emotional and physical energy on my down time.
I am still connected to @dykenitebaltimore , but I will be refraining from working any events until this spring/summer.
Stay safe- wash your hands, mask. Get the vaccine/boosters. Be conscious about how/where/with whom you are socializing with and remember that everyone has different levels of risk tolerance.
Be wise, be empathetic.

GB Jones is a post-punk artist who’s illustrations took direct inspiration from Tom of Finland. Co-opting the male/male ga(y)ze and flipping it on its head to showcase woman/women sexuality.

I thought it might be fun to show ya’ll a small portion of my partner and mine’s collection of boots and leather shoes. Mainly to show that you don’t have to wear shit kickers to sit in my chair. (Seriously, I love rehabbing clogs)
