It’s so rare that I get one on one time with either of the kids and it can be hard to find activities which suit them both, with a 5 year age gap. Little lady is staying at a friends house tonight, so I treated little dude to a bouncy castle fun day!

On Sunday I was granted freedom by a second negative test result, so I wanted to treat the kids to something for being such legends this week. Little lady was desperate for a McDonalds 🤣 so I was happy to oblige with that request!

Then we nipped over to Pinewood Activity Centre for the Pinewood Miniature railway day. The trains run the third Sunday of the month and it costs just £1.50 each (or 4 rides for £5!) Don’t be put off by the queue, it seems massive but I think we only waited for 15 minutes. There’s a lovely park on site and a coffee shop for coffees and ice creams too!

How’s isolation going?…

The sound of my children laughing together upstairs, has morphed into constant arguments, tears and loud angry thuds! My son has gotten out every toy in the house, the conservatory is full of creations he’s made out of paper plates and pipe cleaners and the snack cupboard have been demolished!
We have all thoroughly had enough!

I clearly upset some greater being, or algorithm god or something, as I have been blocked from accessing my old account! And try as I might, I can’t get back on! So rather than stressing about something, that’s let’s face it, is squares and pictures, I’ve just started afresh!
