Over her 2026–2028 tenure, Clara will help shape Calgary's civic and literary identity, and we can't wait to see the impact she'll make.

The energy at the Jack Singer Concert Hall, Werklund Centre was electric as we gathered for this year’s Celebration of the Arts, hosted by Mayor Jeromy Farkas. 🎉
For another year running, we served as Artist Accessibility Sponsors, giving free admission to people who make a living as working artists. We also had the privilege of helping set up the VIP experience and coordinating with the inspiring recipients of this year's Leaders Legacy Awards. Watching talent get recognized? That never gets old. 🙌
Our partnership with Calgary Arts Development runs deep, and every year we're reminded of why this work matters. Together, we're not just supporting the arts, we're actively shaping Calgary's creative economy and opening doors for the visionaries who make this city come alive.

We had the opportunity to do just that when our team led the artist callout and program execution of the Blue Sky City Creative Challenge, in partnership with Tourism Calgary, Calgary Arts Development, and RISE UP Calgary!
The result: 5 interactive and exciting “Blue Sky Art” experiences, several locations/events, under one Blue Sky City.

It's National Tourism Week! We're taking the opportunity to highlight an incredible partner we’ve had the pleasure of working with over the past few years, Tourism Calgary!
In 2025, Calgary welcomed 10.5 million visitors and generated $3.3 billion in visitor spending.* Behind those numbers is an enormous amount of collaboration, creativity, and community.
We're very proud to have supported that impact through projects like Chinook Blast, where we led the production of the festival for the past 5 years.
We also led the program execution for Blue Sky Arts, helping bring the city’s "Blue Sky City" brand to life through five incredible artistic experiences.

We are proud to support the Calgary Arts Development in the management of the Poet Laureate Program. The Poet Laureate serves as an artistic ambassador, presenting at civic events and creating literary works that capture the spirit of our city and its people. Every two years, Calgary welcomes a new voice to this important role.
Since April 2024, that role has been held by Shone Thistle—a poet, author, and multidisciplinary artist whose work spans radio, jazz ensembles, festivals, conferences and beyond. Thank you, Shone, for serving Calgary as our seventh Poet Laureate!
Stay tuned for the announcement of our next Poet Laureate later this month.
