Mother’s Day used to be the hardest day of the year for me. The 7am monitoring appointments. The injections lined up on the bathroom counter. Watching the world celebrate something I wanted so badly and feeling completely invisible. There’s a specific kind of grief that comes with this. Being jealous and hopeful and devastated, sometimes in the same hour. And every Mother’s Day since, I think about the version of me who was still in that waiting room. At Bird&Be, we believe you became a mother the moment you decided to be one. The moment you showed up. The moment you chose hope over and over again, even when it was the hardest thing you’d ever done. That’s why this week, we’re delivering flowers to fertility clinics to say: We see you. You are a mom in our eyes. You have been for a long time. 💐

ICYMI here’s how we’re changing fertility care 👀 Bird&Be wasn’t built as a general “wellness” brand. It was built for people navigating their fertility journey. Everything we make is designed to reflect what a fertility clinic would actually recommend. Our supplements are formulated by a panel of fertility experts (think: reproductive endocrinologists (REIs), OB-GYNs, fertility-focused naturopaths, and pharmacists) and then further reviewed and validated by our Chief Medical Advisor, Dr. Dan Nayot, alongside additional REIs and pharmacists. Every ingredient, form, and dose is chosen using peer-reviewed research and real-world clinical experience. That’s why Bird&Be is carried in fertility clinics across North America and recommended by fertility doctors. For you, this mean's less guesswork, fewer bottles, and more confidence in what you’re taking. Because fertility care should be science-backed and *actually* designed for the journey you’re on. Comment SCIENCE for 10% off your next order! ✨

PCOS got a rebrand—meet PMOS ✨ Polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS) is the new name for polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and we’re SO happy about that. The new name more accurately addresses how far-reaching the effects of the condition are—it’s not just that your period is “off,” it’s a whole-body health concern that affects your everyday. PMOS is a leading cause of infertility, but it also has an impact on: - Hormone health - Metabolism and insulin resistance - Heart health - Skin issues and hair growth - Mental health - Reproductive health @drpratiasharma OBGYN and REI (and Bird&Be’s Medical Advisor!) explains what you need to know.

May’s habits shape June’s outcomes! Fertility is rarely about one moment. It's about momentum. And consistency compounds. ✨

Every year, Mother's Day brings up a specific kind of grief for people still on the path to it. We know that grief. We've carried it ourselves. So this year, our team loaded up cars with flowers and drove them to fertility clinic waiting rooms. We shipped bouquets to customers and partners in the depths of TTC. All because moms-in-waiting deserve their flowers too. The messages that came back to us this week reminded us exactly why we started this company. And why we'll keep showing up, every single year, for the people still on this road. To us, you became a mom the moment you decided to be one. Thank you for letting us be part of your journey. 🌸

Clinic waiting rooms hold a lot. The dread before results. The tears after. The hope you somehow keep finding anyway. This Mother’s Day, we showed up to fertility clinics with flowers for the mothers in waiting. The ones who are already showing up, cycle after cycle, with more resilience than anyone around them knows. If you’re in the waiting today, you already are a mom. In every way that counts. Because motherhood begins in the heart. Long before a positive test. Long before anything grows. Happy Mother’s Day 💐

Mother’s Day is quietly one of the hardest days of the year for so many people, not because they don’t want to celebrate, but because they’re also carrying something no one else in the room can see. ㅤ The ache of wanting this. The exhaustion of still trying. The strange grief of celebrating something that also breaks your heart a little. ㅤ @birdbeco asked some of the therapists at @theshiftcollab to write a permission slip for exactly that feeling. For anyone on a fertility journey who needs someone to just say you don’t have to hold it together today. ㅤ Take what you need. 💙

We know the complicated, delicate, messy, and multilayered experience that is postpartum life. For many, Mother's Day is an opportunity to celebrate, connect, and cultivate memories with family and friends. It’s a time to celebrate and to be celebrated. But, this day can often be layered, complicated, or nuanced, especially for those who are newly postpartum. We asked licensed marriage and family therapist (and mom of two!) Claire Blakey at @thrivetherapysb to share a few tips to help you navigate this newly postpartum. There is help available. If you’re struggling with postpartum depression or postpartum anxiety, please reach out to a trusted mental health professional for help. You don’t have to struggle through alone. 🩷 Need extra care? Check out @cleo.care.co for resources to support your journey!
