new ep “jacknife” out now
songs from spring-fall of last year. lots of life changes during this time and huge shifts in how we all think about music. mostly recorded with macbook microphone and a 57 all the electric guitar and bass is di, only real setup was drums on track 3. originally was planning to do more hifi recordings of these songs but in the interest of time we wanted to get to work on the next full album where these songs wouldn’t have fit in. feels like this closes out a specific era for the band in a nice way. hope you like these songs some of my favorites are on here. hope this ep + the last one can hold over while we work on the album im hoping to have that out in the fall. love yall lemme know your favorite song

this week we are playing two shows to showcase how much better we have gotten from going on tour. first in brooklyn on 4/2 @unrulycollective with 2 of the coolest bands rn @whirlyb.ird and @fawnridge . second a kingston homecoming @keeganales with the very talented @a.whole.nother.band .
in between this me brendan and john will be attending geordie greep’s performance at the egg in albany. this is shaping up to be one of the greatest 3 day stretches of my entire life so if you would like to become a part of one of my core memories please come out. thanks all!
tour has once again been an incredible experience. we made a lot of new friends & saw a lot of old ones. really enjoyed playing the new songs around. thanks to all who came out and helped us along the way. tonight is the last show in binghamton @crowbararcadebar come celebrate with us.
next week we have 2 shows @unrulycollective in brooklyn on 4/2 and @keeganales in kingston on 4/4 but will make a separate post for those. love u all

portland u rocked last night!! thanks again to @thesquareportland for a beautiful show. tonight we’re in pvd with the persian cats at as220 it’ll be one for the books. the cheesy bean and rice burrito is still under 2 dollars in maine and that is beautiful.
