Broaden is a purpose-led film studio telling stories that shift perspectives and inspire action towards more sustainable and creative ways of being. This commitment underpins everything they do, from flightless travel to building their own off-grid studio: all for the shared goal of creating a bolder and better world.
CONCEPT
The concept builds on their name, to โbroadenโ outlooks and effect change, through an extended wordmark, flexible layouts and a motion language that opens, shifts and expands. They are a team of makers and doers whose work often lives beyond the screen โ they have built their own studio, launched festivals, created installations and generally made things happen. Meaning that the identity had to feel physical, using recycled materials, uncoated stock and a tactile real-world presence.

๐Realised I never shared the final for this, alongside some concept and mood boards.
Fractals was an experimental performance piece โ a dance assembled of individual disjointed gestures, absurd by themselves, yet when viewed together they move as one living flipbook. Drawing inspiration from the iconic photographer Eadweard Muybridge and others, the concept was to create a sense of movement from the stuttering and staccato repetitions that form the backbone of the performance.
