“Within the dancehall scene Binta is a highly accomplished dancer and choreographer, she holds multiple prestigious titles, a three time Dancehall Queen of Sweden (2008, 2022, 2023), winner of Dancehall Queen of Gambia (2009), and was crowned The European Dancehall Queen in 2013. Alongside Blackout Family, she has also won international titles such as Dancehall Master World (Paris, 2017) and Top Up (Germany, 2017).”

@uppsalareggaefestival was the first stage @blackoutfamily ever preformed at as a dance crew. And Here we are again 17 years later preforming with with 2 different shows, one with the kids/teens in the day time and one with the adults 🎉

Dance studio - Blackout Studio
And honestly I’ve never manifested anything as much as this studio. For over a month, I drove past this place 1–2 times every single day, just visualizing what it could become.
Slowly but surely, we’re building the dream studio we’ve always wanted. A space that radiates creativity, love, and warmth a true second home close to the water, nature, outdoors gym and the train station 🥹😍 pinch me!

March 2nd - Pisces energy ♓️
Today im not just celebrating another year Im recognizing my growth. Grateful was definitely one of the keywords for me this year. I was able to harvest a lot of the seeds I’ve planted years ago, at first, without knowing. Gratitude isn’t just a “mood”, for me it’s practice. It shifts perspective and perspective shifts behavior. My main goal isn’t to preform growth, it’s to continue to work towards living in it. Thank you to everyone single one of you who’ve taken your time to wish me a happy Birthday 🎂❤️
