One of the things about @binopri is that he loves very attentively. Whenever we eat together, he always gets me water first before even touching his own food. It’s such a small thing, almost invisible to everyone else, but love has always revealed itself to me through details like that. Through being thought of first.
During my training in UPD, I had Saturday morning classes that required me to wake up painfully early. Bin would wake up before me to boil water for my shower and steam my clothes so everything would already be ready when I got out of the bathroom. I would wake up half-asleep and everything I needed had already been prepared for me.
Bin is the kind of person who will clear his schedule just because I say I miss him. It doesn’t matter if he has to ride MRT after a long day or arrive exhausted. He still comes anyway. Not once has he made me feel like loving me was inconvenient.
Everbloom, my small flower shop, somehow became ours too. He treats my passions seriously because, as he always says, anything important to me already becomes important to him too.
Maybe that’s why loving him feels easy.
We laugh at the same things. We listen to the same songs. We move through the world like two people constantly saying, “look at this,” and finding out the other person was already looking too.
He notices everything before I even say a word. Before I say I’m tired, he’s already massaging my feet. Before I realize I’m thirsty, there’s suddenly a cold glass of water in my hand. Before I ask him to take photos of me, he’s already telling me to stop and pose because he thinks I look pretty in the lighting.
Bin turns 28 today. Sometimes I think the greatest thing about loving him is that he makes life feel shared in every possible way. I hope he knows that all the little things he does, the things he probably thinks are forgettable, are the exact reasons why he is loved so deeply.
Happy birthday, baby. Thank you for making life gentler, safer, and infinitely more beautiful. I love you so much. ♡
