NOW SHOWING at Rose Gallery @rosegallery.official A powerful two-person exhibition featuring Renee Royale @reneeroyale and Binh Danh @binhtdanh — on view through April 25, 2026. Through layered, materially driven practices, Royale and Danh explore colonial legacies, systems of extraction, and the complexities of identity, belonging, and memory. I had a productive spring break, spent a few days in Yosemite Valley, demoed the view camera to a couple of park-goers, and attended the “no king” SF. #daguerréotype #yosemite #nokingsprotest

On View: Binh Danh x Renee Royale. Stop by the gallery Tuesday through Friday, 10AM–5PM, and Saturday, 10AM–6PM. Bringing together two materially driven practices, this exhibition examines colonial legacies, systems of extraction, and questions of identity, land, and memory. Through daguerreotypes, altered Polaroids, and time-based processes, Danh and Royale hold the past in the present as a reminder of histories that remain unresolved. . #ROSEGALLERY #ReneeRoyale #BinhDanh #Photography #losangeles

Upcoming Exhibition!
Three extraordinary bodies of work. Two artists. One opening. We are pleased to present a two-person exhibition featuring works by Binh Danh [@binhtdanh ] and Renee Royale [@reneeroyale ], bringing together practices that examine colonial legacies, systems of extraction, and the enduring questions of identity, belonging, and being. Through materially driven processes and historically grounded imagery, both artists contend with how bodies, land, and memory are shaped by power. Royale comes to us fresh from MoMA’s Photography Now: Lines of Belonging. Danh brings work of rare emotional and material depth. Both artists will be presenting unique works. Opening 14 March at 3 pm, with a conversation with Rotem Rozental [@rotroz ], Director and Chief Curator of the Los Angeles Center for Photography. We hope you will join us.  Save the date. .
