#werbung I give you the most special and unique car I ever bought. A 1995 BMW E31 850CSi, 1 of 2 examples finished in Individual Santorini blue over black leather interior.
It's broken. It's neglected. It's beautiful! I just spent 2 weeks at @bimmerworld HQ flat out wrenching on this incredibly rare E31. Powered by the mighty S70B56 V12 engine. S meaning the engine was developed and built by BMW M.
5.6L of 12 cylinder goodness paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. A glorious combination.
This is a Euro spec CSi which means it has a special feature called AHK (active rear wheel steering). Fixing a '90s over-engineered system for which all the parts are obsolete is... easy. Yeah. Nah. It's a 130 bar hydraulic pressure nightmare.
BimmerWorld family has been nothing short of amazing to me, and went above and beyond to keep this project on track. Made me feel totally at home and set me loose in their shop and parts warehouse, aka parts heaven.
It's been a battle rejuvenating this gorgeous E31. One of the most challenging projects to date. Some epic videos are coming your way soon!
For now, soak in never-seen-before beauty that is Santorini blue 850CSi. I say that cause if you google "Santorini blue 850CSi" you won't find a single picture of a CSi in that color. Only 5 out of 1510 specimens came out of the factory in this color (2 with black interior). One was never publicly listed or taken picture of before. That's how rare it is.
To say I'm over the moon that this absolute dream car found its way to me, would be an understatement.

Evan is out at @hyperfest taking on his first HFGT race in his (not yet Spec) F32 435i and this time he made sure to optomize the machinery. So far that has placed him on pole for the race later today against a mix bag of equally optomized cars - Corvette, Mustang, M240iR, etc.

#36 BimmerWorld drivers James Walker Jr. and James Clay secured the AM class victory in Race 1 of Pirelli GT4 America at Sebring International Raceway aboard the BMW M4 GT4 (G82) EVO.
The team delivered a controlled and consistent performance across the race to secure the class win during the opening contest of the weekend.
The result marks an important start to the Sebring weekend for #36 BimmerWorld as the team now turns its attention towards Race 2 on Saturday.
