This E46 wagon have, in my opinion, a very nice spec. @maxgestic sent us these lovely photos from its recent trip to Germany. Furthermore, the car was just awarded the Best Daily Driver prize at Shedfest 2026 this past weekend. This car is a right-hand-drive E46 330i touring facelift (internal code EN52), produced from August 2001 through June 2005. A total of 1,324 units were built: 454 with manual transmission, 867 with automatic transmission and 3 with SMG. The exterior color is Imola Red II (paint code 405). Only 14 EN52 cars were painted in this color. It was available for the E46 Touring from April 2001 until the end of production. The upholstery is Black standard leather (interior code N6SW), the most common interior option for this model. 686 N6SW cars were configured with this interior. Imola Red II color was only sold in combination with the M Sport package. Worldwide, only 26 E46 Tourings were ordered through BMW Individual without this package. In summary: - 1,324 EN52 cars (E46 RHD 330i Touring facelift) - 686 EN52 + Black Standard leather - 14 EN52 + Imola Red II - 10 EN52 + Imola Red II + Black Standard leather - 6 EN52 + Imola Red II + manual transmission - 4 EN52 + Imola Red II + Black Standard leather + manual transmission. All sold in the UK, but only this one is on the road with valid MOT. The last image shows a table listing the 1,117 E46 tourings manufactured in Imola Red II worldwide. Of those, 178 have Imola Red II / Black Standard leather combination (8 pre-facelift and 170 facelift). Congratulations to its owner for such a great car! #bimmerstats #bmw❤️ #bmwe46 #bmwe46touring #bmw330i #e46 #e46touring #e46330i #330imolared #imolared #imolarede46 #e46imolred #bmwproductionnumbers #bmwproductionfigures

Today we bring the second E39 M5 to Bimmerstats, a model that is possibly my favorite M5. The photos were submitted by @bmw_e39_lady from Germany. This car is a European left-hand-drive BMW M5 E39 (internal code DE91), produced between October 1998 and June 2003. A total of 7,895 DE91 cars were built. The exterior color is Carbon Black Metallic (code 300). A total of 3,699 DE91 cars were finished in this color, making it the most common choice. The interior is Caramel Complete Nappa Heritage leather (code M1CR). A total of 188 DE91 were equipped with this extraordinay interior. Another upholstery option offered in the BMW brochure was Caramel Extended Nappa Heritage leather (code M3CR), which didn't include the center console and the lower portions of the dashboard and door panels in Caramel. This second option is less rare than the upholstery shown in the images, with 609 DE91 cars produced. This car has equipment code 940, which refers to special orders, such as Individual colors or interiors, or options outside the standard catalog. In this case, the buyer requested it with a Roof antenna D net Kathrein K707764, deleting the antenna mounted on the rear window. Only 22 E39 M5s have this extremely rare antenna (all European left-hand drive). Does anyone know what functions it has? In summary: - 7,895 DE91 cars (European LHD E39 M5) - 3,699 DE91 + Carbon Black Metallic - 2,095 DE91 + Carbon Black Metallic + sold in Germany - 188 DE91 + Caramel complete Nappa Heritage leather - 117 DE91 + Carbon Black Metallic + Caramel complete Nappa Heritage leather - 76 DE91 + Carbon Black Metallic + Caramel complete Nappa Heritage leather + sold in Germany The final image shows a table with the number of E39 M5s manufactured worldwide in Carbon Black Metallic, with Complete Caramel and Extended Caramel leather interiors. #bimmerstats #bmw❤️ #bmwe39 #bmwm5e39 #bmwe39m5 #bmwm5 #bmwm5sedan #e39 #e39sedan #e39m5 #m5 #m5e39 #bmwcarbonblack #e39carbonblack #carbonblack #m5carbon #m5e39carbon #bmwproductionnumbers #bmwproductionfigures #m5productionnumbers #m5productionfigures

Today I’m going to share a slightly different post, dedicated to a very special interior. This E39 525iA sedan is one of the very few E39s that were equipped with it through the Individual program. Its owner, @arizoned_ , is passionate about this interior and even runs an Instagram profile dedicated to it. Arizona Sun Nappa leather is one of my favorite materials. Here, we’re looking at the most sought-after option: the full leather interior. This specification included Arizona Sun leather on the seats (including the seat backs), the center console, the lower dashboard, and the full door panels (with only the upper section finished in black). In this particular case, it was also factory-ordered with Arizona Sun interior trim, which matches perfectly. In the last image, you’ll find a table listing the 17 E39s that were equipped with this incredible interior, three of which featured piping in a different color.

BMW (2003-E46-LCI) 330d M-Sport Saloon Individual: Exterior: Phoenix Yellow (Phoenixgelb-445) Interior: Grey Leather It isn't often I stumble across an Individual in a scrapyard, but is has happened before. Normally a fairly common Individual, or a small engine so, albeit still sad, not the biggest loss in the world. Unfortunately, this E46 is not a common Individual, or a small engine- so it is very, very sad. What you are looking at here is the only Phoenix Yellow E46 saloon to be made for the UK. It is (/was) a 330d manual, with grey leather, and some nice options like Harman Kardon, Xenons, SatNav TV and power fold mirrors etc. According to the staff at the scrapyard the previous owner had left it sat for about 18 months, and then scrapped it. They also requested the car have a Certificate of Destruction issued, so the yard legally have to destroy the car- so there would have been no saving it (I tried). Not that you would want to save it, mind. I am a big advocate to save the E46s, but this car was really past it. Rusty, faded, peeling paint, ruined interior, no decent panels left- it would be completely uneconomical to repair. How did it get like this in only 120,000 miles?! It must have lived a very hard life. The engine and box were exported (which is what would have happened to the whole car, had the selfish previous owner not requested destruction), and due to the neglect there was pretty much nothing usable left- apart from the Xenon headlights, which I saved and will retrofit to my car eventually. This really is a tragic loss, a truly irreplaceable, one-off, stunning car that has been lost due to disrespect from careless owners- an all too common story for a lot of E46s. It was a privilege to see this car in its final days, and as depressing as these photos are, I am glad we have been able to document what would have been one of the best E46s in the country. CF52 HJO, may you rest easy in the big scrapyard in the sky 🫡😔 Spotted: 28.04.26 Big thanks to @louis1robinson for the photos, to @kycuq10 for the tip off about the car, and @bimmerstats for the info 🙌 #BMW #BMWIndividual #330d #PhoenixYellow #Individual3Series
