@leadingladiesconnect presented by & at @microsoftcanada created a space where collaboration felt intentional, and conversations carried real depth.
What stood out to me most was how powerful it is to bring diverse voices into one room. When people from different backgrounds and experiences come together, communication becomes sharper, more honest, and far more meaningful. It is in these shared spaces that true networking happens. Not just exchanging contacts, but building understanding.
A few reflections that stayed with me:
Be more thoughtful with your questions. The right ones open doors to real progress.
Trust your instincts. The wrong alignment will always cost more in the long run.
Be confident in your numbers. Speak them with clarity and build with intention.
Choose collaborators and investors with care. Alignment shapes everything.
Put structure in place early. Clear agreements create stronger foundations.
And one lesson that resonated deeply:
The women who truly grow are not waiting for the perfect moment. They are showing up, taking risks, learning through the process, and trusting themselves as they go.
This experience was a reminder that collaboration, when done right, doesn’t just expand your network. It refines how you communicate, how you lead, and how you connect with communities beyond your own.
Beautifully executed by @leadingladiesconnect and @rubicorneventmgt

So this happened sometime 2024 while I was hesitant to share I feel the need to. This image of me and the prime minister of Canada 🇨🇦 @justinpjtrudeau represents a lot of things to me for many reasons from the small girl from Lagos Nigeria 🇳🇬 moving to Canada 🇨🇦 with NO clear plan or blueprint to suffering the most loses from 2022- 2024. This same year I was suffered the most severe mental breakdown; lost my place & couch hopping ; to losing my job ; a lot of things going wrong my dreams and hopes were shattered. I just couldn’t see the light 💡. I considered moving back to Nigeria 🇳🇬 every day of my life and thought Canada 🇨🇦 wasn’t for me.
Sometime in 2024 I sat with myself and said if people are so succeeding in this country so can I . Canada is a land of endless possibilities I see it everywhere and my case wouldn’t be different. I took God’s word literally and my scripture for the year and as Amos 9:13 “ Good things are going to happen for me so fast my head will swim , it will be one good thing to another l wouldn’t be able to keep up. Every where I look it will be BLESSINGS pouring endlessly.” ( paraphrased)
I had the opportunity to talk all things@leadingladiesconnect and the work we are doing to empower women across Canada 🇨🇦 and the world 🌍🌍 to PM. @leadingladiesconnect We have gone from a cute brunch of 7 ambitious women to a group of over 420+ women ; with chapters in 4 cities ( Montreal , Vancouver , Toronto & Calgary) in Canada 🇨🇦 & across continents.
I am forever thankful to all my friends who stood by me ; endless calls and being there showing up in ways I needed and much more ; mentors who coached me back to life and the women of our community @leadingladiesconnect my church family @harvesterstoronto ♥️
If you need a sign here it is. 2025 will be your best year yet cause God can do a lot in a few months ; days or in a year. God has plans for you and can do so much with all he has given you. Love you and rooting for you. 💞💞💞

Last night at the VIP Mixer for @joinobsidi Bftur Summit and honestly the room was powerful.
As someone deeply invested in community, leadership, and creating opportunities for underrepresented voices, it made me proud to see what @lekan_olawoye and the Obsidi team continue to build. Over 20,000 Black talents in tech connected through one growing ecosystem is no small feat. The impact is real and the future is even bigger.
One major announcement for this year’s summit Damola Adamolekun, CEO of @redlobster , will be headlining BFT Future 2026. 🔥
The energy in the room last night said one thing clearly: we are just getting started.

There’s something powerful about wearing a look that makes you feel fully aligned with the woman you are becoming. ✨
From the consultation to the fittings, tailoring, and final details, @dwlonline was intentional every step of the way. Thank you to the incredible lead @ivieosula for the care, support, and excellence poured into this look. You didn’t just style me, you helped me show up powerfully on stage. 🤍
Honoured to wear @dwlonline at the @leadingladiesconnect Conference presented by @microsoftcanada a room filled with visionaries, leaders, founders, and women building boldly.
This look was confidence, elegance, and power stitched together beautifully.🩷

I’ve followed @thetobioluwole for years on LinkedIn, so hearing him speak live at Harvesters Toronto @harvesters.toronto this Sunday felt like a full circle moment for me.
What stood out most wasn’t just the success stories. It was the discipline behind the success.
Tobi shared how he posted consistently on LinkedIn for over 1,500 days. Think about that for a second. Showing up every single day whether people were watching or not. That level of consistency is what many people underestimate in the journey of building influence, credibility, and opportunity.
He shared how he once wrote his own eulogy and realized he wanted enough time, freedom, impact, and generosity to truly live the life God placed in his heart. That hit deeply.
He spoke about rejection too. Imagine applying to Shopify and hearing “NO” seven different times. Seven. Yet he kept going. Proof that rejection is not the end of your story, it may just be preparation for purpose.
One thing stayed with me all day:
You can build a life by design, not by default.
But it takes intention. Faith. Courage. And taking the next step even when you’re afraid.
Thank you Tobi for pouring into us, challenging us, and reminding us that possibilities still exist for those willing to believe bigger.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, tired, uncertain, or afraid to start, this is your reminder: your future can still change. One decision. One step. One act of obedience at a time.
And honestly, church is one of the places where vision comes alive again. ❤️
You’re invited to join us every Sunday at Harvesters Toronto.
Come expecting clarity, growth, healing, community, and direction for your next season.
The life you want is possible.
Take the next step. ✨

Good things truly come to those who trust in God. ✨
Not everything beautiful comes easy. There are prayers people never heard, silent battles nobody saw, hard work behind closed doors, and moments you wanted to give up but kept showing up anyway. That’s where grace steps in.
I’ve learned that you can work hard, stay consistent, and still need God’s hand over your life. Grace will take you where effort alone cannot. 🤍
God loves us so deeply He already gave us the world, but faith is learning to walk boldly into everything He has prepared for us. Keep trusting. Keep building. Keep becoming. Your season will speak for itself.

Some people come into your life for a season, and some become part of your journey in the most beautiful way. 💚
Today is simply an appreciation post for my girl Joanne @gracefully_joannyoung of @rubicorneventmgt not because it’s your birthday, but because you deserve to be celebrated every chance I get.
For the past 3 years, you have been a gift to us @leadingladiesconnect planning all our events exceedingly well, you’ve been more than an event planner. You’ve been calm in chaos, excellence behind the scenes, dependable, thoughtful, creative, and truly a gift that keeps giving. From planning moments to building memories, your heart always shows in everything you do.
Thank you for your friendship, your consistency, your support, and for always showing up with grace and professionalism. So many people see the beauty of the events, but I get to see the amazing woman behind it all.
You are appreciated more than you know. 🤍✨
