Ok. I. Had a stroke slash seizure Well 2 actually. I’m ok now. But this happened Sunday and I am just coming to basically now I’m home. I love all of you. Thanks for all the text messages. Go to my Record store and buy Record’s so I can pay the doctors for all the Aunt diarrhea medication they gave me because remember I had two strokes, but I’m fine and I love you all. I’m texting with my voice because, texting with my thumbs was getting really annoying and was giving me nausea and I’m watching the Olympics in bed right now. This is a picture of me when I used to not have strokes. I figured I looked cuter than I did in this sort of diaper they put me in in case I shot my pants.

Billy Jones is a New York City based musician and DJ, and owner of scene haven Baby’s All Right as well as the recently opened Billy’s Record Salon in Brooklyn. As a fixture of the New York underground, Jones’ desire and continued ability to stoke community through uplifting acts steeped in obscurity has planted Baby’s squarely in the focal point of all that is interesting about the city’s current musical climate. He is, in many ways, a glimpse into the New York that many mid twenty-somethings can only daydream about experiencing -- the pre-streaming, Facebook Events driven, Daft Punk is playing at my house, ‘I’m on the list’ in smudged eyeliner and faux fur, moment. He’s been around the block, and in his eyes, the moment is far from over. As our co-founder and fearless leader Kat Johnston says, ‘He’s a true renaissance man. No like, he really does it all, seriously you wouldn’t believe this guy. He’s best friends with your dad and your scene crush. He is (please don’t copyright me) everything, everywhere, all at once.
