What a ride the last three and a half years have been
Thank you, @whoisjob and @tina.cohen for taking a chance on me and welcoming me into your lives in such a personal way. I know it couldn’t have been easy bringing a kid who leaks sand everywhere along for the ride around the world.
I’m endlessly grateful for all the opportunities this job has given me and feel so lucky to have been part of this team for so long. Thank you for pushing my limits, both creatively and physically. By physically, I mean getting stepped off into mutant barrels, eating shit, and coming up still breathing—only to realize I can handle way more than I thought. It’s a metaphor for life that Jamie lives by. Basically push yourself harder and further than you think you can go, and you’ll be surprised by the results.
The people I’ve met, the places I’ve traveled, and the things I’ve learned are truly priceless. Thank you for being a great boss, mentor, and friend, and for always treating us like family.
To everyone I’ve crossed paths with on the North Shore during this time, thank you for the love, aloha, and sense of community. It’s infectious and unlike anything else in the world.
