How it started vs how it’s going!! There’s not much I would say to this little queen because, she wasn’t listening to ANYONE. She was gonna do what she wanted, when she wanted—good, bad or otherwise. Well team, we did it!! We made it one—whole—year!! 365 days ago, I was struggling to regulate… mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. On top of struggling with drugs and alcohol, I had gotten laid off from the highest paying corporate job I’d ever had. For years, I stopped truly “looking” at myself in the mirror, because I honestly couldn’t tell you who or what I was looking at. There was a particular light behind my eyes, that simply wasn’t there. And it hadn’t been there for a long time. 365 days ago, I knew I needed to make some serious, life-long changes. One of which, was getting back into the studio, and dancing. I can confidently say, 365 days later, I recognize the person standing in the mirror. That light—that magic behind my eyes? Oh it’s a full-blown fire now baby. But… here’s the thing… I’m one of the lucky ones. One of the lucky ones who has a supportive circle of family and friends, that are always ready to catch me, when I need it. If you’re someone out there who is struggling… please know I see you. And you matter. And you’re worth whatever it is you’re holding yourself back from. You already have all the tools you need, to break yourself down, and put yourself back together. 💜☀️ To everyone in the last 365 days I’ve had the opportunity to dance with, to take class from, to connect with, to chat… THANK YOU. You’ve all played a role in helping me find myself, again. I am incredibly grateful, for forever. 🎨💋🪄

A whirlwind of a weekend, with choreography to go!! Thank you Jack for showing me a great time. Everyone in @tuacahn.amp production of Newsies was absolutely phenomenal. 🗞️📰 We even got to sneak in some Pride of Southern Utah moments, too. 🌈
