Happy 40th!!!! birthday to my beautiful wife Jennifer…..who was apparently bitten by a vampire sometime in her 20’s 😏. I hope you have the amazing day you deserve ❤️❤️❤️❤️
15 years married to this beautiful lady…through ups downs lefts and rights we always traveled the road on this wild ride together. When times got tough…we got tougher. Eternally grateful to call you my wife and my best friend. Happy anniversary to the best wife and mother, me and our girls are lucky to have you 😘
Anyone who drives a work truck (especially an older one) knows the constant struggle of playing dashboard indicator light roulette….lol. It’s a beautiful thing when there no warning lights on. Feels like freedom 😂. Special thank you to my little bro Darryl for being a magician under the hood and always being there to help me when I’m in need to keep this old girl on the road and getting me where i need to go.🙏
A time of reflection
This place to me is something that can’t be explained by words or pictures….this is a place to truly reflect. There’s something to be said for a landscape that freezes time. The spaces of majestic beauty can seem to hold still like a snapshot of pure grace, echoing through the years like a painting from the creator themselves. Viewing yourself and your life through the lens of a place that seems timeless is a sobering and humbling experience. The same hands of a child that held a fishing pole in a familiar fishing spot on the lake now seem different. A few more scars and callouses. Skin that seems tougher and aged….experienced. Seeing the joy of my children spending time with family….climbing the same rocks and trees as I once did. This small spot is magical. Something about the timeless beauty that is simply breathtaking. Here you truly see the change in yourself. How you have grown, how you see the same things differently. Through the eyes of a different person. I have viewed this life in so many ways, through so many eyes. I am grateful for this blessing
Had a chance to hang with one of my oldest and closest friends tonight Desi Pena at DeLandapalooza…. and share the stage (for the first time in over 2 years) with his killer band. Shout out to the boys in AMOV for bringing me up to jam. It was a great time!
Part 2 of the wet plate collodion process, it’s just that…a process….lol. The results were amazing. Such a cool thing being part of such a classic form of photography that’s been almost forgotten with time. Glad I was asked to do it. I’m really lucky to be friends with a true artist and visionary . Look out for part 3 with the final results.
Did some cool old school photos with my good friend and Killer artist Benny Migs. This is part one of our wet plate collodion photo shoot. I’ll post part two tomorrow with the final product! They came out crazy cool!
