Well done everyone! Next date to be announced soon. Spread the word! 👀🤝🏼
Combining boxing and Bikram yoga (hot yoga) creates a highly effective “Yin-Yang” training regimen, balancing high-intensity, explosive movement with deep, static recovery ☯️
Boxing develops power, speed, and cardiovascular endurance, while Bikram yoga addresses the tightness and mental stress that often accompany intense training 🧘🏼♀️
Bikram’s heat allows for deeper stretches, repairing muscle tightness in shoulders, hips, and hamstrings that could become tighter due to the repetitive nature of boxing drills and stance🔥💥
Both practices emphasise nasal breathing, which increases oxygen utilisation and stamina 🫧🫀🫁
🔥 Utilise the Slip to not get hit and then hit 🔥
Get into the flow of slipping - before, during, and/or after your combos - to create momentum and that extra sharpness behind your punches! 💥 Become a tricky target for your opponent 🎯 and give yourself more thinking time 🧠
Create the opportunity, utilise the springboard effect and have some fun 🕺

ROCK & ROLL
One of my favourite defensive but also offensive tactics when I was competing , get this right you can avoid punches , build momentum and create openings , stay elusive and hard to pin down ! Which can take its toll on your opponent both mentally trying to catch you but also physically punches thin air !
Let me know how you get on ! Leave some feedback in the comments on what you would like me to guide you with next ! 🥊

THE SPRINT! 🥊💨
Picking up the speed on the bag? Don’t shorten your work - keep those punches LONG whilst you increase the speed. Don’t let the increase in pace impact your form 💪🏼 fully extend those punches, take down the power a touch and let those hands fly 🦅 See you in class!
Thursday 6.10pm, 7.20pm
Sunday 2pm, 3.15pm

Want to stop the cycle of procrastination? Here’s how 👇🏼
Accountability - having someone in your corner that wants to see you succeed as much as you do. If you say you’re going to do something, do it.
Action - showing up to sessions is the only way you’ll see results. Nothing changes if nothing changes. Put your words into action.
What’s your why - write it down and refer back to it when motivation starts to fade.
A plan - having a plan to stick to when you’re in the gym stops you from wasting time. You know what you’re doing so you can get stuck in. And you know you’re doing every exercise for a reason.
Enjoyment - find your ‘thing’. Find a type of training or movement that you actually enjoy. If you enjoy it, you’ll want to do it. If you’re forcing it, staying motivated will be even harder.
Consistency - stopping and starting and then complaining that you’re not seeing results…of course you’re not. Change takes time, be patient, keep going, change is coming.
