Sometimes it can be challenging to post content from sets on social media due to lack of people, venue sizes, bad audio quality and so on.
Last night I played in a venue to maybe 14 people at a push. Regardless on how many people where watching the people who came down and raved to my 90 min set enjoyed themselves, had a dance and told me after the set how they enjoyed it! One lovely person called Pink even brought me a drink afterwards 😅
Everyone wants to play the best rooms, venues to the best crowds, get the best reactions and have the best content but reality checks in sometimes and especially as an upcoming dj in a rural part of wales where the scene isn’t as big as it used to be doing local sets can be extremely difficult.
I was extremely happy playing to my 1 raver at this time and my 13 others who came in after their cigarette break or toilet trip 🙏🏼 don’t worry about the size of the crowd, play your music to the people. Play the music you love and everything should be all good!
I had so much fun on this set playing a massive variety of music I haven’t had the chance to play out before. Learned a lot and am already working on my next set. Keep pushing keep grinding it can only go forwards and upwards from here ❤️
