This season meant a lot to us. 10 years ago what started as an idea to bring the cities together through surf clubs has turned into something special across the United States. And it only works because of the people behind it. To every club leader, every surfer, every member, all the moms and dads... to everyone who showed up, competed, and backed their team… thank you. We built this together. Proud of all the clubs who worked hard all year and in the off season and congratulations to the clubs that qualified for Lowers... where it will all come together for the WCBR and US finals. What a trip. What a crew. What an experience.
Coming away with 5th place out of 40 teams at the @worldclubchampionships is something we’re seriously proud of. But honestly, the result only tells part of the story. The stoke within this team all week was unreal, and it showed in our confidence, our grit, and the way we backed
each other in every heat.
Big shoutout to our HB president @billwebb511 for holding it down on the beach all week, and to our coach @brettsimpson for keeping us focused and ready when it counted.
