The news is just so horrible now, but through Ding and Dongs’ eyes the world is still a magical place. Our first visit back here since #StormGoretti, and the damage, which has mostly been left, is jaw-dropping.
But also beautiful - a chance for renewal. 🙏❤️

Endorphins were GUSHING yesterday for the three of us on our first walk in #GodolphinWoods since #Storm Goretti. Thanks to @love_your_paws_dogtraining Vicki, first with adventure walks and more recently tracking and trailing, these woods are full of the happiest, loveliest memories. Every walk there adds another layer. Despite the storm damage making much of the woods unrecognisable - lots of paths are still closed - they are nevertheless still magical. 🥰 #DingAndDong
Ding and Dong hit peak influencer yesterday when I called @chenpump to pay for servicing my water supply, we did the business and a voice from the next desk asked:
“How are Ding and Dong?”
They often get recognised now, far more than I do.
Collabs, anyone? Product placements?

FYI, everyone, I just called little Ding, concerned he had been out in the cold for 3+ hours. He came belting inside as they always do, snaffled the customary little bit of sausage in one gulp, then DEMANDED VOCIFEROUSLY to be let out again IMMEDIATELY, this time accompanied by my Dong (right.)

The last of many recent visits to this funny old place, and a very happy one, hearing stalwart allies affirming the embedding of culture within the Devolution Bill AND, for once, with a very warm response from HMG. Hurrah! 🙌
