Amsterdam showed real love. Being back and painting inside STRAAT Museum meant a lot not just the wall, but the energy, the people, the respect for where this all comes from. Grateful to the entire STRAAT team for the invitation, the care, and for documenting the work the right way. Every moment out there felt genuine. Appreciate everyone who came through, showed support, and connected with the piece in person. More to come. — Bill Blast #STRAATMuseum #MuseumnachtAmsterdam #AmsterdamArt #GraffitiArt #BillBlast © STRAAT Museum / Photography by Janneke Nooij / the ESSENCE @straatmuseum

The weight of a pioneer isn’t measured by how loud they start, but by how long their signal lasts. It’s the ability to translate the raw energy of the NYC subway tunnels into a technical language that the world from the STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam to the Palazzo della Cultura in Catania eventually comes to study. Bill Blast represents the archival truth of an era. Whether serving as the visual pulse of “Beat Street” or providing the authentic aesthetic for “A Most Violent Year,” his work remains the definitive bridge between the street and the high end art world. Through the Deathless lens, we aren’t just looking at history; we are documenting the standard of mastery. True pioneers don’t just leave a mark they provide the lifeline that future generations use to find their way out of the ruins. The weight of a pioneer isn’t measured by how loud they start, but by how long their signal lasts. From the streets to the museum walls — this culture gave us a voice. Honored to have my work shown at the STRAAT Museum, where the story of graffiti lives on. This is more than art
 it’s history.

On Saturday, April 11, the @straatmuseum in Amsterdam hosted a true pillar of New York graffiti: @bill.blast . The artist unleashed his creativity with a massive mural and took center stage during an exclusive signing session, followed by an interview dedicated to his career. It was a rare opportunity to hear directly from a pioneer about the true meaning of “The Essence.” At Arena Studio d’Arte, we have had the pleasure of hosting Bill Blast on several occasions over the years. We continue to follow the evolution of his artistic journey with enthusiasm, proud to support such a significant figure in global urban art. 📅 Sabato 11 aprile / Saturday, 11th April ✍ Autografi & Intervista / Signing session & Interview 📍@straatmuseum , Amsterdam

The history of this culture is written in more than just paint—it’s written in brotherhood. đŸ—œđŸ€œđŸ€› Witnessed a heavy moment at @straatmuseum : a surprise reunion between Bill and the man who started it all, 2MAD (aka TWOMAD), the founder of the Crazy Young Artists (CYA). 2MAD’s story is legendary—from dominating the IRT lines in the late 70s to his hiatus in the U.S. Marines, he’s a true pioneer of the movement. Seeing him and Bill together again, not a single beat was missed. It felt only right to capture the moment in front of their CYA brother @crashone ’s piece. From the Bronx yards to the museum walls in Amsterdam, the CYA legacy is untouchable. đŸ„‚đŸ‡łđŸ‡± . #2MAD #BillBlast #CYACrew #CrazyYoungArtists #CrashOne GraffitiPioneers STRAATMuseum NYCtoAmsterdam SubwayLegends

The turnout for Bill Blast’s Black Book Session at STRAAT Museum was nothing short of incredible. To everyone who came through thank you. The energy, respect, and love shown in Amsterdam reminded us exactly why this culture continues to endure across generations and borders. Watching people connect with Bill’s history, his black books, and the roots of the movement in real time was powerful to witness. We’re deeply grateful for the warm welcome and overwhelmed by the support this city has shown throughout the week. Amsterdam has been special. And this is only the beginning. More to come as we continue the journey. #BillBlast #STRAATMuseum #AmsterdamGraffiti #BlackBookSession #WeAreDeathless
