Yesterday my son told me "you love building dad your a builder like Rubble and Crew off Paw Patrol " he really likes that show, and that touched my spirit in a way i didn't expect. Mainly because I feel very conflicted at times when I'm choosing between finishing a project or giving him my undivided attention.
When he said that it reminded me that everything i build is for our future and you're going to have to choose between what feels good right now and what is going to give you freedom down that road if you only choose the now moment, without thinking of your future you will fall behind and end up with a future you don't want .
You must take control of the time you have and use it to enjoy the now and build for the future. If you're doing something now that doesn't bring you want you in the future your wasting your life . You can have both you and do with you love and make a living . Delayed gratification is still gratification. And you can say "not right now" and still be a great parent. Just make sure the "now" does come to those kids.
