We have a teenager! Happy 13th birthday, my heart! May you continue to grow in favor and stature with God and man! You are amazing already. We love being around you.
Yesterday was the girls’ entrance ceremony for yochien (Japanese preschool/kindergarten) and they made it through ok. Jas napped for part of it and they were much happier when it was through. And today they had their first official day! It was short since they ease them in but they did great! No tears at drop off and they played well with their classmates. Jeno was not ready to leave when we came to get them. Yay for new things starting well!
And just like that we have a junior high student! Elementary graduation was a couple weeks ago and today is his first day of Jr high. We’re so proud of you, Johnnie! Upward and onward!
The twins enjoying our new kids books from @McKenzieCatron about her daily adventures with her service dog. They have been taking turns looking at one and then trading and chattering about it again and again. It’s the cutest thing. Johnnie Bailey
10 months old! Jinora now has her first tooth and trying to take steps. Jasnah is communicating more as both practice their expressiveness. They seem to be in a competition at times for most smiley and they handled our first big family road trip here like champs, sleeping most of the way. They are exploring everything with as many senses as they are able to, keeping us on our toes to keep them from hurting themselves or each other.
