We did it!! 🥂 The day finally came, we got hitched!!
What a day it was… pure joy from start to finish. We laughed, we cried m, we danced all night under the biggest disco ball you’ve ever seen and somehow everyone made it through Storm Amy to be there with us. Absolute heroes!
It was everything we hoped for and more full of silliness, love and so much laughter.
This is just a tiny peek at what’s to come, but I couldn’t wait to share a few favourites already.

One of the best parts of our Pan-American Highway trip is stumbling upon places like this—where the wildlife takes center stage. Walking through Punta Tombo, we found ourselves surrounded by hundreds of waddling Magellanic penguins, their chatter filling the air as they went about their day.
Fun Facts About Punta Tombo and Magellanic Penguins
🌎 Penguin Paradise: Punta Tombo, in the Chubut Province of Argentina, is the largest Magellanic penguin colony in the world. During breeding season, over 500,000 penguins gather here.
💏 Loyal Partners: Magellanic penguins are known for their loyalty. They often return to the same partner and the same burrow year after year.
🐧 Penguin Super Highway: Penguins use well-worn paths to travel between their nests and the ocean, sometimes walking up to a kilometer inland.
🏝 Global Travelers: These penguins migrate thousands of kilometers each year. Many travel as far as southern Brazil before returning to Punta Tombo to breed.
🌊 Underwater Speedsters: Magellanic penguins are incredible swimmers, reaching speeds of up to 25 km/h and diving to depths of 30 meters.
🌿 Wildlife Haven: Punta Tombo isn’t just for penguins! The reserve is also home to guanacos, armadillos, and a variety of seabirds, making it a must-visit for nature lovers.

First stop on our journey home: the breathtaking Perito Moreno Glacier. 🌍❄️ We spent hours soaking in the soundscape—gentle creaks and thunderous crashes as massive ice chunks the size of buildings plunged into the water below.

We made it to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, and the end of the Pan-American Highway. 🌎✨
Two years, 70,000km, and a lifetime of memories. It’s hard to wrap our heads around it—what started in a Lancashire car park during lockdown as a wild idea to build a campervan has taken us across two continents, through deserts, jungles, mountains, and more landscapes than we ever dreamed of.
As magical as this journey looks, it’s been full of challenges, incredible highs and intense lows. Freezing nights in the Andes, breakdowns (both mechanical and emotional), and moments when the road felt endless. Yet, every step of the way, we’ve been carried by the incredible people we’ve met—those who welcomed us into their homes, shared their stories, and offered kindness when we needed it most. To everyone who has been part of this journey, we can’t thank you enough.
While reaching Ushuaia feels like the end of an incredible chapter, it’s also a beginning. We’ve had the chance to explore, reflect, and even start creating new projects along the way. We’re heading home with excitement for what’s next, knowing there are plenty more adventures on the horizon.
This journey has been about so much more than the miles we’ve driven. It’s been about the people, the moments, and the experiences that will stay with us forever.
Four years ago, this was just an idea. Today, it’s the adventure of a lifetime—and there’s so much more to come.

On our way south, we stopped at Pingüino Rey Park to meet some incredible King Penguins 🐧. We could watch them forever!
Fun Facts✨:
- This colony of King Penguins is the only known group in mainland South America, located near Bahía Inútil in Chile.
- They’ve settled here thanks to the cold waters of the Humboldt Current, which bring plenty of food—and because there are no orcas hunting them in these waters!
- King Penguins can live up to 25 years and spend most of their lives at sea, returning to land only to breed and molt.
- The Pingüino Rey colony is carefully protected, with strict guidelines to ensure their habitat remains undisturbed.
