The man. The myth. The legend. 🏌️♂️
Popular request! If you’re into golf at all you know @pga_johndaly
He’s easily one of my all time favorite golfers I’ve ever watched. From beating Tiger to winning major championships - all while smoking cigs and drinking Diet Coke. I felt it only necessary to make a vid of him to commemorate the PGA Championship this weekend.
You are always with us John! Thanks for taking us on a wild ride 💛
Take me back. @jordanspieth
I was 24 years old when Spieth was dominating the tour and I watched almost every tournament. The countless chip ins, clutch moments and bunker saves was a thrill of a ride. Every weekend had something special from this dude.
Which solidified me as a fan for life. Back in 2015 I even had 3 pairs of @underarmour golf shoes, a couple visors and like 4 polos.
Those days were great. Making this video got me to relive those days in a unique creative way and my hope is that it does the same for others.
Cheers @jordanspieth 🍻 you were the GOAT that year. 🙏
Some of my fav moments
I’m a professional videographer/photographer that loves golf. I use ai quite a bit but only if the project needs it. This video is a fun creative outlet for me to test what ai can do. I loved watching Tiger Woods when I was a kid and tbh there’s too many moments to highlight….so I picked out a few of my all time favorites.
Clip 1: 2008 U.S. Open: Tiger Forces Playoff vs. Rocco (I’ve watched that playoff like 10 times lol)
Clip 2: 2008 U.S. Open (Again): Round 3 - Tiger was coming into the tournament injured and took the outright lead in the clip.
Clip 3: 2012 AT&T National: Tiger smacked the tree full force on his follow through. He won btw.
Clip 4: 1999 RBC Heritage: incredible recovery shot from a waste bunker on the 6th hole.
Clip 5: 1994 US Amateur Championship: one of Tiger’s all time greatest fits I’ve ever seen.
Clip 6: “Raise the Roof” 1997 Phoenix Open: 21 year old Tiger on his first year on the PGA: hole-in-one.
