SKYLAR SOMNUS (they/them) is a non-binary, Scottish/Ukrainian settler from Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Treaty 6 Territory) - Edmonton, Alberta - that works and lives in the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations - Vancouver, British Columbia.  Part of Citadels Young Performing Company (2020), Hnatyshyn Foundations Developing Artist in English Acting (2024), and graduate of UBC’s BFA in Acting program (2026), Somnus has dedicated their life to the study of arts, and is still going!  Co-founder of the independent art companies; CHOCOLATE MILK ART COLLECTIVE: a short-film arthouse - MO!: an experimental dance company, and now STORYFREAK: a Commedia Dell’Arte troupe.  Having taken the stage across Canada in Fringe festivals, mainstage shows, community theatres, street performances, workshops, intensives and masterclasses, as well as screen work in independent and international film in Europe and Asia, Skylar is a confident and well rounded artist, with plenty to share.  Get in contact with Skylar Somnus @bigsoccc on Instagram to get connected and make something cool together.
