Enjoying the feeling of early spring days. If you can believe it, he lost a frisbee in that puddle. We spent 10 minutes sweeping it, Sam with his head fully underwater and me with the water just tipping over the tops of my boots. I think another dog will enjoy it, or, if we’re lucky, I’ll find it when we go again tomorrow.
In its final form. I bought this bike a year ago for very little money and have slowly replaced bits and pieces to make this epic machine you see here. 64cm frame, hand built in Birmingham. Finally ready to rock with a @seabasscycles rear wheel, huge gear range, and a whole lot of comfy to take @ksovens (she’ll be riding her bike) and I all over northern Scotland in a week.
My @wizard.works bags looking like a perfect compliment to the new bar tape on this mornings early early ride. Out at 6 home at 11:30, my first 100k+ ride ever!
A year ago I flew back from a week in New York seeing family and friends, making music and drinking beer, and feeling a strange impending change. I got home and the magnolia tree in our garden in London was about to bloom. This is that tree this morning. I’ve mainly been marking time by the day - what music I’ve written, what skill Sam had learned today, what I made for lunch. It’s nice to have these larger markers, and to have sunny days.
