It took me ever since the show ended last Sunday to come up with this post in hopes of corralling all my thoughts into one cohesive post. As a regular guy from Ohio whose focus was always on others as a nurse, never did I think I would be given this opportunity to walk in New York Fashion Week! The experience was one of the most positive, enjoyable, exciting experiences of my life and Iโm so grateful that @jack.sivan & @persephonebennett saw something in me and wanted me to be apart of this inclusive and amazing group of people to display Jacks amazing work. I met some of the coolest most interesting people and will literally never forget this day! Also thank you to my partner in life @leo_tiger for being there to support me. I almost started crying when I turned the corner & saw you there smiling and recording me. Itโs always makes things sweeter knowing you have someone in your corner so loving, selfless and supportive. A day Iโll never ever forget! & for context, I know on a lot of runways, there are rules and certain looks and faces youโre supposed to give, however from the beginning this amazing team told us to be ourselves, have fun, and even smile which is my secret weapon so that I did! Last month we took a trip to Florida & spent 4 days between Cape Coral and Fort Myers and spend time with some of my favs. Then drove north to my favorite place on earth @waltdisneyworld & I got to see the park through my 4 year old nieces eyes!
