From day one, my main goal has always been shaping a community I feel comfortable within. I enjoy helping people more than myself at times. With the little platform I have, I wanted to give artists I’m a fan of a greater platform.
THE BIG League is based on the film Bull Durham. I got attached to the film because of Crash Davis’s character. The journeyman that’s well renowned in the minor leagues, fucked up his chances in the majors but molded Nuke to a star. Baseball movies pique my interest because of how awkward talents become puzzle pieces to greatness. Even though I haven’t been to the majors per se, artists tend to trust me with lifting their visions.
For years, I was always confused as to why artists seek my guidance. However I feel like THE BIG League is the reason why. This album was always a bucket list dream of mine. It took two years to make, a lot of pushbacks but rightfully so. Took this last month or so to really focus in on it. I’m thankful for the artists and producers that contributed to this project.
