Mark & Adam from the Bluetones.
The guys are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their classic first album “Expecting to Fly” this year but are still releasing new music with “Atlas” just out now. Looking forward to some old, new & blue when they play the sold out @giganticalldayer on Saturday 💙🩵

@thebluetonesofficialuk were absolutely class at @tunnelsaberdeen last night. On top form with new and old tracks that the sellout crowd loved! Great to have them back in the city after so long 💙
Really cool to take band portraits and some pre-gig backstage shots of the lads, the nicest or people.
Also a great support slot by @thecapollos

Abandoned by the friends to whom I’ve been so loyal (some say TOO loyal) for more years than I care to recount, I ate alone tonight whilst that singular pack of quislings decided to scavenge on the leftovers at the @starbucksuk and @greggs_official which was the only available food within several kilometres of our accommodation. I hope they choke on their Sausage, Bean and Cheese Melts. Melts, indeed. @thebluetonesofficialuk #greggs #starbucks #ladolcevita #timescrossword
💙🩵 Blue Monday… the Bluetones in blue tones (a slight return)…
@bigmo1971 captured at Shiiine On last month when @thebluetonesofficialuk were joined by @shiiine_on_ Quizmaster general (& ex Shed Seven drummer) @alanshed on bongos for a song.

Best known as the lead singer of The Bluetones and a solo artist since 2008, Mark Morriss has spent nearly three decades honing his craft as a live performer.
Across his career he has released six albums with The Bluetones, achieving 14 Top 40 singles, alongside four solo albums. He has also collaborated with Matt Berry and the Maypoles, Mike Wilton, and The Helicopter Of The Holy Ghost on tour and on record.
As a live performer, Mark blends songs from his extensive back catalogue with stories from life on the road, creating an entertaining show that prides itself on never being the same twice.
“Symbolic of Morriss’ style as a solo performer; a serious love of music and song tempered with jocularity. It makes for a set of easy going acoustic songs and a camaraderie that brings a warmth to the winter that gathers around us.” – Louder Than War
“Spellbinding; passionate, humorous and open – the sound of a singer who could take on the world.” – On-Magazine
