Congratulations to Evan McLaren, your 2024 Falken Club TR Champion 🏆👏 This season was nothing short of spectacular for McLaren, driving his # 514 Acura Integra to victory in every round he entered. The battle for the title came down to the finals at Pitt Race, where Evan held off fierce competition from Peter Granberg. In one of the tightest finishes in GRIDLIFE history, McLaren secured the championship by just 0.003 seconds. His consistency, determination, and track dominance set him apart in 2024. POV you won the 2024 Club TR season championship 🥇🤍
If I could describe this season in one word it would be: EPIC (but Kyle didn’t ask me so I’ll just leave this here) @bigmacvtak all of your hard work, practice, time and skill finally paid off and I am so incredibly proud of you ❤️
Man what an epic event at such an iconic bucket list track! Going in I was a little nervous about this being my first event of the season without any prior shakedown for myself or the car. That nervousness quickly became stress when I struggled to get the car ready in the week leading up. What started as a simple brake bleed turned into a week long struggle to get a firm pedal and discovering a cracked and leaking caliper that I had no spare for. At that point I thought I might be done but @petergranberg511 came to my rescue by shipping me his old calipers. Literally saved my ass and made it possible for me to even make it to the event. Still can’t thank him enough! I told him as thanks I would do my best to bring him a proper battle and ironically enough I’d say that’s exactly what we did 🤣 so much so that him and I wound up tying for p2 to the thousandth of a second! Absolutely insane to think that’s even possible. The parity at the front of the class is so tight it’s crazy especially considering @k.hunter_86 winning time was less than half a tenth ahead of us. Can’t get much tighter than that! Overall the weekend was a blast from start to finish with everyone in the top 8 or so continually knocking down time and resetting the class records back and forth till the very last session. Such a great way to kick of my season and redeem myself from last years event here lol. Can’t express how great it felt to be back out at a @gridlifeofficial event with all the homies after such a long winter. Next up is Midwest Festival at Gingerman where I’m sure will be another throwdown in about a month. Time to mentally prepare and make sure the cars good for battle! As always thanks to everyone that has my back and makes this possible for me! @acuityinstruments@fortuneautousa@jtrakracing@honed_developments@ebcbrakes@unit2fab@yawspeedltd
Last weekend pushed both drivers and cars to the limit with a condensed event schedule shared between @gridlifeofficial and @formulad at Road Atlanta. A tight race schedule presents a unique challenge, leaving very little time between sessions to make repairs or adjustments to the cars. Despite battling axle failures and cracked rotors throughout the packed weekend, @rise_vtec continued to push his K-swapped EG Civic forward and kept the car competitive all the way to a P4 finish in ClubTR. At the same time, teammate @bigmacvtak returned for his first event of the time attack season and immediately found himself battling near the very front of the field in his K-swapped DC2 Integra. He ultimately finished the weekend tied for P2 with @petergranberg511 while resetting the FWD track record for ClubTR in the process!
We’re already looking forward to the next stop of the season as the team heads to Midwest Festival at Gingerman Raceway, June 12–14 🏁

Two different drivers. Two different cars. Two different lines. Same exact time. Tying for p2 to the thousandth of a second. 1:34.122 @gridlifeofficial Road Atlanta. These k series do sound nice in harmony. Video by #paddockpixel

Friends tell friends to run EBC! With an EBC sweep in Clubtr and a front row lockout in Streetmod, two of the most competitive classes at Gridlife, this was a truly dominant showing from EBC Brakes at Gridlife Atlanta.

What a crazy way to conclude my first event of the season! Came into this event with no real expectations given it was essentially the shakedown for the car and myself, and came away with a last minute tie with @petergranberg511 for p2 while sitting less than half a tenth off p1. I’ll take it! Only minor changes to the car over winter (more on that later) definitely helped me feel right at home after shaking some rust off in the first session. My goal was only to redeem myself as much as possible after the sh** show that was this event last year, and keep the car in one piece. Definitely didn’t expect to be knocking on the door of :33s at all. I blew my fair share of laps that could’ve been so I guess that means I have to come back at some point lol. Massive thanks to everyone who supports me in this from sponsors to friends and fellow competitors. I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for every one you. @acuityinstruments@fortuneautousa@jtrakracing@honed_developments@ebcbrakes@unit2fab@yawspeedltd@gridlifeofficial
My first event of the season with @gridlifeofficial is coming up quick! Less than a week till departure to the most dangerous track in the country… and the car doesn’t seem to wanna cooperate. Hell of a track for a shakedown! Luckily I didn’t make too many changes to the car over winter but I’ll still have plenty of rust to shake off. Will I get it sorted in time? Will I redeem my poor performance here last year? Do I even remember how to drive? Find out on the next episode dragon ball z!
