Extraordinary running in Majorca: beautiful villages, tender flower fields, shady trees, blustery mountains. It’s got it all. Puts me in mind of my favorite narrator: “come a stove boat and stove body when they will, for stave my soul, Jove himself cannot.”
As the residency comes to an end I’m trying to celebrate the words written, miles run, songs learned, friends made. But really I just want to cry. Thank you Jerome Hill and the Camargo Foundation for this magical, abundant, focused time.
Extraordinary run between Cassis-La Ciotat- and back to Cassis for cassis gelato. Ishmael says everything best: “whereto does all that circumnavigation conduct? Only through numberless perils to the very point when we started…”
I bet my sister $5 that I could get a six pack- she thinks it’s genetically impossible. I thought running this race might help me with the $5 but it didn’t. 🤷🏻♂️
El miércoles pasado en Casa Ojalá recibió a estudiantes de Standford University para un taller de 1 día como parte de su viaje de verano en Ciudad de México.
El taller “Sintiendo lo Desconocido” estuvo enfocado en el dibujo experimental como una herramienta para navegar lo desconocido, explorar un nuevo contexto, país, situación. Cómo podemos observar atentamente, abriendo nuevas posibilidades y al mismo tiempo siendo éticamente responsables.
El taller fue impartido por Katayoun Vaziri @katayoun.vaziri de Casa Ojalá y Brenda Martínez de Ávila @bchoclit .
