Here’s my first selection of photos from my trip to Boston in March. Really been on a black and white kick recently but had to throw in some color images as well! I have had a lot of fun getting back out and shooting again and taking photos I’m happy with. Let me know which one is your favorite! 📸 Sony A7IV + 24-70 GM

I recently went to Montana and crossed Glacier National Park off the bucket list. What an insanely pretty place. More photos to come (eventually).

More moody views from Montana. Which is your favorite?

Photos for my dudes in LANDFILTH - @landfilth.oh By far my favorite part of getting into concert photography has been going to my friend’s shows, supporting the homies and meeting everyone in the local scene. Getting some sick shots is just the cherry on top! I’m kinda loving it.

Some photos from my trip to Raleigh last weekend to see some family. Wish I had more time to explore that area, it’s beautiful! Which is your favorite?

Boston but make it ✨cinematic✨or something like that. What’s your favorite? Forcing myself to work more with color shots instead of relying entirely on black and white. I don’t love all of these but that’s part of the journey! It’ll be cool to be look back on these as I improve. 📸 Sony A7IV + Sony 24-70 GM

Happy gotcha day, Chessy. Our first photo together, our last photo together and all the memories in between. Dear Chester, Six years ago to the day we met for the very first time and instantly became the best of friends. We were both a little goofy, a little weird and a little lonely but together we made one hell of a pair. I showed you everything I could, from the rolling misty hills of the south to the snow dusted streets of the Midwest and you loved every second of it. There was so much more of this world I wanted to show you but your little body always had other plans for us. No matter the circumstances though, I showed you love and you were always smiling and right by my side, ready for our next adventure. You showed me genuine love, even when I was at my worst or had to take you to the vet for the 5th time in a week. You showed me I can be so much stronger than I ever thought I could be and you showed me it’s okay to slow down and just appreciate a good moment. You showed me a reason to keep going and I would do it all again for you, bubba. I miss your goofy face, all of the odd sounds you’d make and your weird little ways of showing love. I miss watching you roll around in the grass and smiling at the sun every morning. I miss the joy you’d bring out in everyone that met you and how happy you always were to see someone. How happy you were to see ME every single day. I miss my best friend. Everyone keeps telling me you’re in a better place now and maybe that’s true but I think we both know the best place for you is right here with me. I love you buddy, thank you for all the wonderful memories and nearly six years together. You better be waiting for me up there, I’ll see you again one day. I promise. Love, Dad

A few weeks ago I took my camera to a local metal show and shot live bands for the first time in over 20 years. It sparked something in me and I’ve shot a few more shows since. I can’t lie though, it’s an entirely different world of photography than what I’m used to but I had a blast with the challenge. Here’s my attempt at making live music “cinematic”.

I should probably post my face around here more often. So here it is.

A few more photos from over the years I definitely forgot to edit and share. Imagine that lol. 😅 The first photo is my favorite of the set and I’m honestly a little shocked I like it so much haha. It has me motivated to try some new compositions and move out of my comfort zone. Hell yeah. Which is your favorite?
