I have a long history of truly shit birthdays so I'm very happy for the distraction and to enjoy all the incredible artists performing, the workshops and the community 🥰

I am so excited to be performing at @alternat1vepride in Leeds on Saturday 6th June. This is also the anniversary of the death of a dear friend. Everything I do with drag is in honour of his memory, because he never got the chance to be out and proud and celebrate his sexuality.

This drag monarch has come all the way from Reading, to find a safe space and queer community once again in Leeds. They organise Reading Queers for Palestine and produce an annual "Freedom Festival for Falasteen".

A huge thank you to @queerpanicdrag and @wharfchamberscc for being a gorgeous, welcoming space. I wish we had somewhere like this in Reading, but until then I am happy to leave my town to discover these beautiful safe spaces for queer people from all backgrounds! The audience were also just so incredible, so Leeds I'll be coming back whenever I can!
