I would love nothing more than to rehash all the infinite diabolical ways that these power structures n institutions continue to culturally ransack n take advantage of the (primarily unCaucasian) artists who have had the most to offer creatively over the past hundred n something years… while also disproportionately making millionaire superstars outta the inferiorly-talented n originality-deficient clones who replicate n whitewash what they do in order to appeal to a broader n less melanated audience/consumer base. I would love to remind you how not accidental all that shit is n just how intentionally these oppressors move while cultivating generational wealth within the communities that they serve n belong to.
