Jacob Pence, 26, is in Washoe County custody facing multiple charges after being pulled over for allegedly speeding at over a hundred miles per hour.
Reno PD say they were looking for street racers and reckless drivers in the area of McCarran Boulevard and Skyline Boulevard last night when they pulled Pence over, before allegedly finding a loaded gun, suspected narcotics, alcohol containers and large nitrous oxide canisters inside his vehicle.
The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District released these photos after their crews responded overnight to a fully involved trailer fire in the 8700 block of Spearhead Way in Golden Valley.
"Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire and prevented it from spreading to nearby structures.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation," a statement indicates.
Two people have been found dead inside a plane after a search this morning in the area of Empire, Nevada.
"Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue personnel and Pyramid Lake Fire responded to the area and, after a coordinated search effort, located a single-engine private aircraft approximately 7.5 miles southwest of Empire," a statement from the Washoe County Sheriff's Office indicates.
"The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will conduct the formal aircraft accident investigation.
The identities of the decedents will be released by the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office following notification of next of kin.
An update related to this case will be provided by the NTSB following the conclusion of their investigation."

Well known in state social media content creator yersocialistdad has taken to Instagram saying he’s been disappointed in what happened at a recent campaign event with gubernatorial candidate Alexis Hill who he has been supporting on his platforms with tens and tens of thousands of followers, which he says he now regrets.
He says he got up three hours early to manage his day so that he could attend the May 14th event, while also preparing his own comments, without directly naming Hill.
“I did practice all day long and had a speech in the event that I did have the opportunity to get up and talk. The reason I'm telling you this is I have what's called expressive language processing disorder,” he explained on his video.
“So I got up and I started talking and speaking passionately about this candidate because I believed in her and this person in the audience kept interrupting me. And I didn't really put this all together until much later,” he says in the video.
“But the fact that this candidate stood there … she stood there and she said nothing as this person interrupted me. It's ultimately horrible and I should have done that research before. I use my platform to inform more people about their campaign, because now a lot of people know about their campaign because of my platform. And that was not responsible. If a politician or human is not willing to stand up for someone in the smallest possible way, they are never going to stand up for you when it is really consequential... It's technically difficult for me to speak, so when I choose to use my voice, it is deliberate, intentional and meaningful. And for this politician to sit there and look in my face while this crass individual continued to interrupt me, was candidly horrifying and disqualifying in my view. They wanted you and the platform that I built. I learned from this. I am sorry and I will be better. I'm not a politician. I'm better at teaching you how to use your power. And I've learned how to use my voice, even though it's very difficult and I will do better in the future.”
