How to buy time during a shoot (without looking lost)
The “Candid Stall” is my go-to move.
If I’m figuring out my next angle, I just tell the couple to chat or share an inside joke. They stay in the moment, I get my settings right, and usually, the “in-between” shots end up being the favorites anyway.

1. Light is Everything: Get ready near a large window. Natural light = high-end skin tones.

3. The Slow-Mo Rule: Don’t rush the tie or the jacket. Moving with intention looks much more sophisticated on camera.
