Yesterday the love of my life committed to me of all people! We spent a beautiful morning hiking at our favorite wildflower spot in the gorge. After a brief windy shower at the top we spent a few moments enjoying each other's warm embrace before I knelt down and asked her to be be my wife. I am beyond elated to share my love with someone who is so kind, caring, thoughtful, smart, brave, beautiful inside and out, and tough as nails (she puts up with a lot of shitty jokes, trust me).
Everyone around me lately knows that it's them who bring out my true self and this particular person brings out the brightest light that has been deep inside me for a while now. Four and a half years ago she made the first move, but this time I had the upper hand bringing the surprise to her. I love you @sarahclyde15 and am so grateful and happy to spend our futures together!

We got the opportunity to play with @jesaxophone along with @lolabonesofficial and @bigcat406 Jarred ”Tony the Tiger “Big Cat”” Clos at @shadypinesfestival and her absolutely blew the roof off. I can not believe how talented he is and you just have to see his band No Soap in action. Check them and us out this Saturday at the Alberta st pub. @madisontayphotography took some super clean footage of it all!

Little Life Update: Since graduating in December I've been nothing but a sack of potatoes to say the least. While there is much turmoil within our country and still across the globe, I ventured into the unknown and made a life change when I moved to Portland. Things will start to look a little brighter I'm sure of that but there is a great deal of change that needs to happen very very very soon!

Last night I went to my first show out at @kettlehouseamphitheater and it was incredible. @boniver took me completely off guard and even from the packed lawn I was struck by this music deeply. By far this was the most emotional I've ever been seeing live music because it worked it's way into my brain and made me realize: THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO DO! Thank you to all the folks at @logjampresents for the hard work that went into putting on this show because it truly was warming, welcoming, and eye-opening for every single person in that sold out venue!
